Good Vibrations: Team Kramer

What the online buzz is all about: The Kramer Family

While scrolling through my Facebook news feed, I came across a photo that a friend liked, and that was a photo of a cute baby girl smiling. The page said "Team Kramer", with a family picture as it's display photo. As a young lady who has a penchant for kids, I immediately checked the page and discovered that it is owned and managed by the very beautiful Cheska Garcia-Kramer, and his husband Doug, who currently plays for the Petron Blaze Boosters. If you haven't heard of this whole thing I'm talking about yet, it's a Facebook page that updates fans on the Kramers' latest activities, where most of the posts are cute photos of their beautiful kids.

Cheska and Doug are the amazing power couple behind the wonderful family. Having read the fans' comments on their posts, I can tell they've already inspired a lot of people in just a short time (I'm one of those peeps), I heard they immediately got a hundred thousand likes in one month. I have now added them to my list of favorite power couples :) I'd like to have a family like theirs someday :) And oh. They remind me of David and Victoria Beckham (Posh & Becks).

Michael Lobb Feature

                                                                                    Credits to: Michael Lobb

Last year I had the opportunity to sit down and be interviewed by the very creative Australian musician/photographer, Michael Lobb (for his Arts & Photography book "For the love of Music: A Photographic exploration into Manila's rock scene". ). It was really a pleasure meeting him and sharing my thoughts with him. To be honest, I was ecstatic to be a part of this project because it also included Philippine music veterans like Joey Ayala, Johnny Alegre, and Cynthia Alexander. The whole experience was both fun and inspiring for a starting musician like me :)

Change is inevitable.
I hope I don't give up on my dreams of becoming an influential musician (singer/ songwriter).
Or if I do, I hope it's for the best reasons...

Prod Concerns

First semester is finally over! :) Cheers!
I've got to admit I wasn't the most diligent student in my production class last sem, it's really dejecting that as much as I like attending the class because of my friends and all the nice people (I'm an irregular student), I can't seem to enjoy shooting, editing, directing, or producing *sigh*.

You may be thinking then why did you take that course if you don't enjoy doing those things?, well, my dad didn't approve of BS Criminology when I was in high school but that was only because he loves me so much and he only has two living daughters left. Papa didn't actually prohibit me from taking my preferred course, it's just that I know it would be uncomfortable for him to have his eldest daughter go into studying a field that is more appropriate for men.

Going back...

Don't get it wrong, I don't hate my course or anything, the issue's only about last sem's production class, and the succeeding prod subjects I'll be taking the last three semesters. I have to take action on this matter, you might share with me some tips :(

I have to start learning how to love production classes :)
